once every now and then my bike like bogs. when i try opening it up. if i let go of the throttle it will tikck over fine tho so im pretty sure its fuel related. i was just wandering if it might be water in my float bowl. the only thing i have done recently is used a bit of gasket sealant around my airbox to help keeep the lid nice and tight on there. might this have got sucked up thru the airbox though?

Sounds like what mine had just not as extreme, mine turned out to be poor jetting, very very very very poor jetting like a hole the size of a pornstars ass hole

nothing to do witth jet size or rollers trust me on this one ;) i think its a dodgy airbox so i bought a new one. but it might be dirt in the carb cos it only bogs occasionally like once a day or so. and yes mehmet my bike has done well really.

update! i took apart my airbox and cleaned my airfilter today. dried it and put it back into the airbox. i screwed it up tightly and my bike ran fine. i rode to my matesd house which is about 5 miles away and it was fine. i left it there for about hour and a half and went home. after about 30 seconds of riding the bike started to bog. it would idle ok (low tick over speed) but still stayed alive. if i gave it the slightest bit of throttle it bogged. i ended up pushing the bike most of the way home on tickover. but about a few hundred metres away from my house the revs started picking up again and i was off. i showed my dad and he said its deff a fuel problem. im pretty sure i have water in the petrol or perhaps dirt or something or a blockage in the lines. but what i dont get is it only happens occasionally. however today it was much worse. anyone know what it could be.

ok well i reckon it might be that the float is sticking so if it happends again im gonna give the bowl a tap wid a screwdriver handle and see if it makes a diff. cheers kyle
