anythings possible... just making it road worthy and mot passable isnt as easy.. i wouldn't attempt it if you asking questions about it tbh and unless you know both of the engines indepth and the mounts ect gears and everything loom inside out i wouldnt even think about doing it :good:
fuck you dts are sick. fast-ish reliable good looking handle well brilliant learner bike PS : i whipped loads of nsrs on my dt so i wouldnt bother with an engine change get a full dep system on the dt original qustion: check the mounts on both frames and see how similar they are, ull need wireing diagram for both bikes aswell and depending on how similar the mounts are its all bolts and wires aint it, not hard take your time
just no.... : if you WANT a decent engine in a dt use an old dt enginer (an rd engine basicly) can literally nock one spacer up and bolt him in (the new dt has a longer engine mount at the back, the new engine wont fit in the old dt but the new dt will take the old engine) the old dt engine was SICK (rd125 powervalve) BUT it killed alot of people (drum brakes anyone?) hence they changed to the fake engine they now use... peice of shit tbh. old one is legendary... or maybe have a look/messure up of a yz engine (you know, the ACTUAL crosser yamaha make insterad of the shit fake dt lump of wank they sell to idiots who think there buying a crosser) or ditch the lot, go find yourself a 1996 cr125 offroad and put a loom on there... 36bhp out the box nsr doesent deserve that shitty abuse m8, FARRRR too revvy for a crosser frame too.. will be wheelspin, wheely, tree. dont even dream of using a road engine if your planning to attempt offroad on the dt(wich again i wouldent sudgest, anything more than 10 foot of air and your splitting the frame... yes ive done one or two LOL) road crossers SUCK DICK
