Ns125r projecet my first propper bike

So i sold my speedfight and got a j reg honda ns125r as a non runner the pannels are tatty but rest is good but i need a windshield as any 1 got any for sale i will add pics when it stops raining

 

nice choice in bike mate , as for the windshield try good old ebay , do you no why its a none runner ?

 

It has been stood for over a year but has good compression and a good spark so when my dad wakes up me and him will try getting the old beast going here are some pics

 

Also maybee a longshot but i dont suppose nsr fairing will fit ? if not do any of you no the colour code for the red ? thanks in advance

 

i have no idea mate to be honest about the color code , and as for it been stood probably just a case of a carb clean and fresh fuel if everything else is good , nice little project you have there matey enjoy wouldn't mind something like that for my self

 

it will be for sale when its done as i got quoted 100£ a month as im 17

Update got the old beast running but now in proccess of stripping it and doing a nut and bolt job some pics here and just uploading video to youtube right now looks like i will be busy tonight

 

Also i will not be doing any port work or fine tuning this is staying standord and reliable and just noticed auto loob is fked so will need a new oil pump or just run pre mix i also need a right foot peg and windshield if any1 has owt for sale allso it has a micron exhaust and my dad keeps saying look for boyson reeds cos they was best in ma dads day so any 1 no what best reeds are today ?

 

later fairings wont fit, different frame. Also congrats on getting aan ns125r they didnt fuck up quite so often as the later nsr powervalve engine

 

So after stripping my engine down bit by bit i noticed my conrod is bent dont ask how so i'm looking for a new 1 thew questions will a cr or mbx conrod fit and when this bike is built it will be getting caned every day so does any 1 no a good piston kit

 

Best bet is genuine honda piston kit, probably around £40

You can get a new conrod, i believe they are still available from honda but there is quite a bit of expense involved in getting the crank pressed apart for it and retrued afterwards. Check ebay etc for a second hand crank as a replacement.

 

So split engine 2 day orderd a new conrod kit and some bearings 1 in pic r as dry as gandys flip flops here r some pics hopefully engine will be built back up by next week

I like scooters my self but there is a dual carrage way where i have to go every day and its a 60 and my ped would scream its ass off all the way down it at like 70 and vibrating and rattling lol hence the sale and getting this
