i just bought a set of nrg rims for my stalker but i have hit a problem. both the wheels go on fine but the front brake disc is to big.i need to know what scooter uses the smaller 5 stud disc that would fit. thanks
not sure on the storm, but id guess its a diff casting on the wheel so they can use the same forks as the typh, meaning the storm has a 3 bolt small disk. can change the fork bottoms or use a spacer. think the stage 6 280 conversion caliper adaptor works on these forks to use a big disk. not tryd it (altho i should, got the bits here for exactly that reason) but ye.

try an emergency stop with just a back brake, u either slow down slowly lol or lock up and slow down at the same pace. ok. :beer:

good!!! if i get chance this week ill try out the adaptor on some random forks and a runner/nrg wheel... if it dont fit ima make up a template and nock a few up. been meaning to sort this lil issue for people for years
i dont see why a storm disc wont fit they look the same casting as the nrg just a way smaller disc. you can also fit a nrg 3bolt disc front rim but your not gonna get someone to part with one for cheap
i was biding on the rare one on ebay but lost lol gilera storms dont realy seem to exist on ebay ? and typhoons use 3 bolt
the disc of a zip should fit i am having same problem with my stalker but guy at bike shop said the zip 1 will fit and theres plenty on ebay
the zip one WONT fit... the storm does by the lok of it as andy said (got a good look at one the other day) runner wheel, small disk. so will be a smaller disk on the 5 bolt nrg rim. done
i have the other wheels on atm i will get my dad to order a storm disc from irelands asap lol storms dont exist on ebay.....
