NRG Water Pump Problem

    heya just bought a piaggo NRG 50 which started to drop a bit of water when i stopped but now as soon as you put water in, it just drops the lot out. iv bought a water pump repair kit but carnt find the water pump any ideas ?

    also does any1 have a repair manual can't find one anywere ?

    Its on the right side of the engine, inline with the crank i think.

    Fill it full of water first and see where its coming from. it could be a coolant hose or even the head.

    its coming out from behind the clutch variator, had the clutch variator off and carnt see were its coming from, thats why i bought the water pump repair kit, just been told that you have to split the engine or somit

    yep, the cases have to be split and crank removed to access the pump shaft and necessary seals. what a downer eh?! Mine went JUST after the engine had been rebuilt (I wasn't aware of the problems associated with the pump and seals whan i did the initial rebuild or would have done them at the time)
