most people wont spend that on a spanking ported 172 especially at this time of year and in these economic times so you will have some trouble trying to shift a practically stock 50 no matter how new it is. you would be better of sticking it on ebay and biketrader and hoping some kid who's parents have some cash to spare treat him
Cheers for the hint mate , i just cant wait till its gone then i can get a 125 runner.typh and 172 it
Thats easy for you to say because you know how to do a conversion, most people wouldnt have a scoobie or we would all be riding 59plate 125/172 2t peds lol
how easy it is depends on if you know what your doing or not, the other alternative that very few in this country seem to do is build a quick 70. your bikes basically brand new you will struggle to get what you paid for it back so its a waste of money selling a brand new 50 only to buy a 10+ year old 125. a 125/172 is necessarily a upgrade, its just more power for less money and common culture over here. aint no reason you cant build a 70 thats as quick :good:
you bring me a complete bike, complete engine and a runner 125 loom, 4 mitres of cooling pipe and a bigger rad (Dragster or somthing) and some dosh and tadaaaaa. you got an nrg 125... LOL
there you go soultion :good: , id do exactly what minor said, or buy another 50 engine (keep the stock stock) and take that to him with a 70cc kit and a bag of goodies and ask for a 172 killer
id personally privatly advertise it as is and hope for a commuter buyer.. make sure its completly stock and your laughing.. will get some dogh back. its the usual case of being a "new untouched bike wiht fsh" people who aint in to scooters yet own them look for this and spend good money.. nobody with a toolkit will pay gopod dogh for a new scoot. its just not worth it. as for a conversion, it would be like throwing another grand at a bike to make it worth a grand.. pointless.. only reason to do it is to not sell it for a silly price.. yet if you sell it for enough to buy a half decent 125 your laughing as you aint really spending anything untill you tune that.. wich puts you in a better boat as you already have a complete 125 and dont need to buy an engine/loom/rad/all the other shit. you can just buyt lots of goodies. stick it on biketrader... drop the price 100 quid every 2 weeks its in there unsold. simple
