Hey guys, hope you don't mind helping me out. Just had a new polini super speed variator put in my ped.. the variator before was polini but not a super speed one. For some reason my new super speed one is slower, is this because the rollers are not heavy? they are only 4.5g .. dunno what my original ones were but i imagine they were heavier?

very difficult to help you without any further details...

is your engine revving very high and going slower (too light rollers)

or revving very low and going slowly (too heavy rollers)

Ermm xD. its reving high and going slow.. it did go 70mph now it does about 63-64 to be exact. i think i need heavier rollers like 5.0 - 5.5g ? i cant find any heavier rollers for the super speed variator. thanks for help mate :)

The 9 speed variator has only a small selection of rollers, think ive only seen 3 sets on all the websites. Your much better with the 6 roller one, where you can get any rollers you want to set it up much better. :good:

yeahh sure you could buy one set of rollers and slap them in, and your bike will kinda go ok....

or you could buy a selection of rollers, and experiment to find which particular weight really releases the potential of your engine...

otherwise youve pretty much wasted your hard earned cash bolting things on which arent performing to their true potential ;)

Yeahh good idea i think im going to buy some 5.0g rollers and 5.8.. personally i think above 6g is a bit to much for my engine?
