i've been having lots of trouble with my nrg power dd which i bought as spairs and repairs to get back on road for a little run around... basically up to now i have installed a new piston kit as the old piston and rings were foooked. I then realised there was no spark, fortunately i had a brand new cdi, spark plug cap, spark plug and ht lead lying around. i installed these to see i did have a spark. After i kicked the bike over a few times it wouldnt start, then after a few more kicks it started and died after a few seconds... This went on for a while, i imediately thought fule, but after checking all my fule line and cleaning the carb i still had the same problem. I then took the plug out to see if it had a spark again and it didn't. Sometimes it sparks and sometimes it doesnt.. could this be my stator?
i think myn is stator cuz when myn fires up i go to cut it out and it still running will not turn off and givvin a weak spark sumtime no spark wot plug u got in nw
i have a stage 6 streetrace 70 kit fitted and im using a selection of br9 plugs... ordered some new coil windings for the magneto so i'll see if that does the job
