NRG running problems

Right ive been trying everything over the past few days to get my nrg running propley .. i swapped the carbs reset the carb .. tried diffrent air filters ..

my mate said that there is ment to be a brass plate between the air flow and carb if not it will make it do this ?

i pull away and it flys! then bogs down to like 20mph .. then just stays at that for ages then all of a sudden it shoots again


any help on this would be awsome thanks ryan

 

Variator rollers sticking perhaps.

Either the rollers will have flats on them or the ramps are full of crud.

 

Yeah i used to have that brass plate (air intake baffle) all mine still ran fine without it. if you want to buy a air intake baffle they sell them on the dellorto website

clean the carb out nd make sure theres enough petrol flowing into the engine
