Hey guys, I bought a Giannelli Chrome Extra recently because my Leo Vince TT blew out, and was unusable. Anyway, the new pipe has thrown the tuning off like crazy (as you would expect) The bike is okay on the flat, but isn't great on hills.. You can get up them with about quarter throttle, but if you full throttle it the bike bogs completely - Then it wont pick up again until I'm on the flat. I have a 19mm Dellorto with a PM foam filter, main jet was 91 with the TT, and it worked fine, perfect balance. I was also running 3.5g rollers. Now I've down jetted it to and 85, and I stuck in some 4g rollers that came with the exhaust. The bike runs slightly better but still bogs. Any idea as to why it's doing this? Because I'm at college all week, and I haven't got the time to diagnose it myself.. Plus I want to sell the bike on, and I can let it go with running problems! If anyone is interested in buying my NRG by the way then just give me a shout, Got loads and loads of spares, one being a complete spare engine. Here she is - Anyway, thanks guys, I hope you can help.
could be wrong weight rollers, or jetting isnt right. have you done a plug chop? Also where abouts are you? i want an NRG
Shouldn't have an air filter on it for starters. Change it for an air box. Down jet and probably up the roller weight by at least a gram.
Sorry about the late reply, completely forgot that I posted this! Anyway, the jetting is fine I think. Revs really nicely and quickly, get that nice jolt as you pull away My clutch does jump a bit when I pull off sometimes, but I know that's nothing major so not too fussed about that. Jetting however has always frankly been a complete c!?* over the time I've had the bike. At the moment I'm running an 85 main jet, nice brown-ish plug. Seems to be a nice mix because the bike generally runs mechanically sound! Plug chop? I'm unaware of what this is  I live in Devon, are you close? Yes tErr0, I'm aware that putting an airbox back on the bike would be a good idea but I've tried it before, and it just killed the bike completely! Plus I love the way my NRG is set up, it's just such a nice ride.. Here is the situation, I've been stuck with this issue for so long and it's really annoying me! The bike as I said really seems to run great, just take it on any form of gradient and it loses power.. I can feel it struggling. Not like major jumping of whatever, but it's definitely there. I'm just so confused, because the engine seems to run like a dream.. I miss my TT pipe! It's only after I've changed the pipe that I've had issues.. Beforehand I had a Leo Vince, and it ran so nicely! really great everywhere. So I can't understand how everything seems to be okay, but there is still a problem! Anyway, sorry for that huge rant  Thanks guys.
