ive got an nrg extreme lc with an 80 bore kit. i took the exhuast off other day to spray it and it started leakig water so i left it to dry. i put exhaust back on and tryed starting it for 10 mins and no luck. i too ehaust back off to find a lot of water and petrol in it, any suggestions? joe.
the exhaust hole? LOL ye, its your BASE GASGET OR YOUR HEAD GASGET the fact you took your pipe off is irelevant.. unless you used an axe/hammer to remove the pipe
ok, can they just go ay time then? and i still dont understand why liquid would gather in the actual exhaust pipe
because its leaking out the barrel into the exhaust. THINK liquid goes with gravity which pushes it into the exhaust chamber.
so does the base gasket stop the water from entering the barell? and it has broke and gone into the barell
i have replaced the gaskets, and cleaned out the cylinder and head. still it wont start, any ideas? the carb isnt blocked and no loss of compression and there is a spark
the plug get wet, as silly as it sounds i have took cylinder head off and kicked it over and you can see the petrol in it. i have taken cylinder off and all is ok, no gaskets are broken its baffeling me. normally if i ever have a probem i can fix it but after hours of looing i cant find anything wrong please try help lol
got a decent spark, used a new plug? checked everything silly? do compression test.. might be dead rings
good spark yes, how do you do a compression test? the compresion seems to be good. and no air is leaking out i spet 6 hours yesterday lloking and cant ssee a thing .
just tipped the bike to shake out any water that may have been in the crank casing... still doesnt start : :wtf:
