Nrg power help

Hi I have a nrg power 50 it's been stood few years so all nuts and bolts sized up and got a very weak spark and I think it's got a reg or something missing from from near steering as it's got a plug like 6 wires in it

 

Yeah I think the reg/rec is up the front on them.
Is it a new spark plug and battery?

 

New reeds and plug got it started but needs new carb lol
