Hey guys, bought myself a heap of junk NRG Power to play about with. Seems like an easy enough project so far but 2 things I could use some forum knowledge for:

1st - the Previous owner cut this orange wire from the clocks and says it won't start with them connected.. not sure where it goes, any ideas? Here's a pic https://photos.app.goo.gl/2BoV4y6ySaxtbyBt8

2nd - It's got a Yasuni pipe on it, but I'm not sure which model it is. Wondered if anyone could tell just by looking. Pic: https://photos.app.goo.gl/c71caasnXpjmTBob9

    Cheers!

Not sure about your 1st question but I'm pretty sure that's the Carrera C16 Yasuni pipe. Needs a touch of tlc and it'll be as good as new!

I'm thinking it's the oil light? Maybe..

Oo hope its a C16! Cheers

The oil light comes on and goes off like normal when you turn the ignition on, so wouldn't have thought its that. I tried touching the wires together with the ignition on but couldn't see any lights come on or anything... weird one. Guess I'll have to trace it through the pans

looks like it might be the carb heater, i think. There's exposed wire on the ground too, so I suppose a short could stop the bike from running, will get those connections cleaned up and see what happens
