think i might go for the stage 6 pro rep after i get this running, seems like the best exhaust for the cylinder and god damn it looks good
good news! Old exhaust off Restrictor out test fit - rear tyre is 140/60/13 when it should be 130/60/13, so the bracket doesnt go where it should because the tyre is in the way, so i made some spacers and it worked exhaust on mmm sexy ... After topping it up with anti freeze and 2 stroke, it was time for the first start, but it wasnt starting, checked the spart, compression, and it was getting fuel. So took the airbox off and tried some easy start, still nothing! After quite a few kicks it fired into life, got a video of it's 2nd run! Transmission needs setting up though, what rollers do you guys think i need with my setup?
going to stick the motorforce evo clutch that was going to be for my mate's jog on it, also ordered a racing reed valve block, 5.3g rollers and a main jet pack of 90-108
Yeah, stage 6 streetrace, all of the stuff that's on the bike is on the first post. Think its running a little lean, jets, rollers and new reeds coming tomorrow
got a 95 jet from the bike shop cause my set of jets didnt arrive, running abit rich now, bogs a little until 15 and then shoots off like a rocket
Added pedparts sticker to my undertray and my starter motor broke due to all the vibration Literally, have a list of stuff that's broken/come off beacuse of it; speedo plastic broke, oil pump screw came out, starter motor broke, headlight switch, and brake light switch all 70's
ordered a some 4g rollers, Stage 6 clutch bell, Stage 6 medium torque spring, Stage 6 Adjustable jack up kit in carbon and a malossi special X belt. Hopefully should sort my poor takeoff out.
exhaust bracket snapped monday night, my boss welded it today, and pedparts are sending another anyway. got these goodies to fit tomorrow
Stage 6 medium torque spring in Stage 6 clutch bell and malossi belt in Stage 6 riser on feels so much smoother with the new spring and belt, doesnt hesitate on takeoff and the acceleration is much better. Think im a little too light on the rolllers though, i mixed 4.5g with 4g's and it feels like it's revving too high, will find out when i sort my tacometer.
