hi there i have an nrg power lc with polini 70 kit i am useing the atandard carb with malossi covered airfilter 120 main jet and it wont run the spark is fain and rings are sweet has anybody got any ideas many thanks dan
To be honest DO NOT USE 70cc Kits THERE more trouble then there worth. A friend of mine has a 50cc piaggio nrg power dd and all he done is put a racing exhaust on and changed all his gearing. Its does 86 MPH Also Dont use a aftermarket air filter. again there shit. standard boxes are fine for 70cc kits all those filters do is Increase fuel comsumption. Up to you mate but 50cc all the way OR If you want more power go get a 125 !!!
As much as i hate 70cc kits ill try and help you out What Jet size u got in there atm (Main Jet) ? Strip and clean the carb, Check air hoses, make sure you have no obvious splits in the intake manifold etc etc
86 mph lol can i have some of what your on.dude even changing the gearing isnt possible as a stock 50cc engine doesnt have the power to pull a gear up kit there is nothing wrong with a 70 kit the problems come when there badly fitted or when there fitted to high milage engines or when peaple fit overly powerfull kits on stock cranks
Honestly it does 86 with a 50cc, and i know that because i fitted the 50cc cylinder etc. The bike is not fully stock as i said. Its got a full circle race crank and yes its got a gear up kit. Personaly i didnt beileve him when he told me. But i attached a tom tom satnav onto the bike and it said 86Mph. Fuck knows how because i agree with you mate i never thought a 50cc could do that but i beileve a satnav to be honest
