    no

get the stock parts back on, take it back to the dealer, get a good bike back.. its under warrenty.. 58 plate and its dead already? its ether badly built at the shop (ye there built up by whatever idiot sold you it) or you fucked up fitting parts... ether way a dead shocker isnt coverd by warrenty, but comes under the "fit for use" act wich protects consumers from buying shit that REALLY isnt as advertised... a bike breaking down less than 6 months old is exactly that, not fit for perpous.

nah, there good bikes, its ether a shit dealer OR youve fucked wiht it and not done it properly... ether way its at fault with whoever built/pdi checked it... not the model itself. only bad thing on piaggio's is the cheap forks..

Well you've voided your warrenty for the bike by working on it yourself, even if you fitted the standard parts the garage may still know its been fiddled with (example, he sees a slightly rounded off tranny case bolt, hes gonna know its been whipped off before)

Noises happen from the tranny when something is rubbing or loose, probably a loose clutch nut or something you didnt do up tight enough (or even too tight?). Could be snapped clutch spring or the wrong size rollers so they are knocking about, might even be down to the kickstart mechanism as sometimes they do make a rattle.

The engine will cut out when tilted due to a vaccume/pressure problem I would expect.

monty: it was probably 1 spec of rust then used it as an excuse to get a chrome pipe lmao

For one i wouldn't carry out the work myself even though im a mechanic i had all parts fitted professionally fitted plus i wonder why the dealer didn't carry out the PDI ? because not checking parts when the bike is new can come back with haunting consequences! so it really isn't my fault. i had the bike 1 month and i took it back 4 times all the times where to do with the engine and transmission this was before i fitted the various parts!

Ok so you had the shop do the work for you. Was it the same shop you brought the bike from? If so, they should have warned you about voiding the warrenty if they change exhausts for you.

But forget the warrenty, your never see that again now.

But they fitted the pipe and were supposed to set-up the scoot properly, work carried out by any shop is guarrenteed.. They have NOT done the job properly so you have every right to take the bike back and have them set it up for free so it will run well with the exhaust.

My dealer in Cleethorpes have serviced my bike, fitted a giannelli sports exhaust with rollers and jetting, and still replaced crank bearings, stator and cdi all under warranty!

Doesnt mean all dealers are that good though...

Just too add if you haven't looked at the photos it is clear there was no PDI taken out before sale so i recon myself that this may be linked to these faults!

    :bike: :confused:cratch:

    prime example of why you
1, dont buy a new bike to tune if you havbe no clue/dont have the funds to pay a professional
2, try and fix your own bike under warrenty
3, pm me askin for a reply in a post.. banned and locked for obvious reasons
