The only cable I can see is to do with the throttle where you can adjust it so the lines match up,just wondered if there is a screw to increase oil flow on the pump before I dismantle it cheers

You can adjust the oil flow but only at idle speeds and low end. The screw is where the oil cable passes through the block. If you want to increase the oil to the piston at higher revs then just add about 75ml of oil to the fuel every time you fill up

Probably not, many people don't know about how to align the oil pump, but as I said in an earlier post if you are concerned that the piston isn't getting enough oil, then add a bit straight to the fuel when you fill up.
You have to remember that it is a 2 stroke engine and the piston will go at some stage, no matter how well you lubricate it, that's just the nature of the beast i'm afraid. Regular compression tests can tell you if the rings need changing, but i normally say every 6000 miles stick a new piston kit in.

Stick a PMTuning 70cc aluminium top end on it.
Malossi have upped their prices recently by 23%, making their stuff well expensive, Stage 6 are ok, Naraku are good for a mid range set-up.
I've been toying with the idea of an Airsal ali kit lately, haven't tried one yet but will sometime in the near future.

Cheers it seems PMTuning only do the liquid cooled top ends and not A/C but will have a look to see if there is any others, mighty try the motoforce or stage6 see how the funds go after the rebuild

Thats a bitch, just looked and your right, no A/C setup.
I had the Aluminium X-Tech 70cc kit on my a/c zip before I sold it, produced about 13hp. Went like the proverbial off a shovel with the 21mm carb and gear-up, and other stuff. Cracking piece of kit.

13hp will have a look into them that was some serious grunt, the nrg in my picture has a torini kit on it mass produced cheap Chinese kit with a Italian sounding name so it sells a few,it was on the bike when I bought it, as I was new to the scene even though ive been messing with car engines for 28 years I thought it was ok ,think that's producing 6-7 hp looking to change that on as well as it struggles to get to 50 real speed gps

    think I found it http://www.pmtuning.co.uk/pm-tuning-aluminium-x-tech-70cc-cylinder-kit-piaggio-50cc-air-cooled

I take it that will need a uprated crank as well as being premixed

The Naraku 70cc kit produces around 9hp, which for a mid range set-up isn't bad. Naraku are the OEM suppliers for Kymco scooters and few others I think. I've fitted a few of these kits and they go well provided they are run in properly. Scooter-works.co.uk

Oh yeah, that's the baby. Definately need the uprated crank. I fitted the Doppler crank, C3 bearings, Malossi multivar 2000, 10mm lift plate under the reed block, carbon reeds, 21mm Naraku performance carb, Standard clutch with stronger springs, malossi 15/38 straight cut gear-up (no it doesn't whine), malossi team exhaust, athena belt, 4.0gr rollers.
Top speed............73mph. Clocked with my neighbours Audi A5.
    On a Piaggio Zip.:D
