Ok so i just fitted a doppler sports airfilter on my NRG and up-jetted to an 85.

I just went to test it and when i start it up, instead of ticking-over, the revs shoot up to around 5-6k and it sounds like im giving it full throttle, if not louder.

I thought the throttle might be stuck open but it dosent seem to try and pull away much.

Any ideas what could cause this?

    Thanks, Lukash

idle mix needs adjusting, its the big screw on the side of the carb, turn it out for less revs and in for more

theres a little nut on ya carb m8 have you adjusted that in any way .its where ya throttle cable enters the carb or ya throttle cable might night be lined up right around that same area if summinks pullin it then it revs .might be wrong but thats what it was when it happened ta me good luck

ah right, my mate helped me change the main jet and he started taking the wrong screw out so that could have messed the idle. Ill try to fix it tomorrow, thanks!
