I have an issue with my nrg mc3 172 build that I hope someone can help with.

Simply put I've already got the engine in the bike, cooling system all works the problem I have is that the frame is hitting the thermostat housing...

Right at the front under the seat is a support bar the is hitting the edge of the thermostat housing, right where the water pipe connects and it has broken off a small bit of the metal.
The hose still connects but splits the hose every now and again.

I have already ordered a new housing and sanded down the existing one for now.
Any suggestions for after I fit it?

like roxy boy says, modify frame... or you could try and modify the engine mounts

It's not the engine mounts, the the frame.
Filing won't.work, I've spoken to a friend, I think I'm going to go with cut and weld...
