    allright mate,
im just guna be using a normal nrg mount turnt the opposite way to give me some clearance space above my engine, iv done this before and it works fine and rides smooth but the mount i have at the moment is a old one and will make my engine sit to the right abit if turnt upside down, so im in need of the one that sits bang in the centre. which so far has been hard to find lol.

no you really dont... upside down? no need.. will flex the frame (its bent for a reason)

50 frame with stock mount just cut a little (the right way round)

    125 frame

using a drag rad, and its STILL fucking close...wont build another one,. for anyone.. ever... just use a 172 ac cylinder.. just as fast/less to go wrong

niceeee, i like that nrg ALOT lol.
im kinda lost at what your saying about the mount tho m8, i know u dnt like re-explaining yourself as iv seen around the forum lol......im gunna put the mount in the frame the normal way up and if im using a jack-up/raiser and a 125 gilera shock, u rekon the nipple will still hit the frame????

i was gonna go ahead and get a dragster radiator too( which means no rads or hoses hanging out lol), but then i got low on funds and thought the gilly one will do just fine for now  ,
    thanks,carl.

Take it to fibreglassed the front panel up how come u didint fibre glass the little headlight cover holes up? I love my nrg but the rear end lets it down soo much the front is too skinny and short to have a big backend NTT's look sooo nice.

allright peeps, yes gregzzz the front panels has been fibre glassed plus,
the rear indercater unit....your the first person to notice it aswell i think lol.

and thanks remi, i wasnt too keen on the colour at first, but its kinda grew on me now and i like it alot :)

i might spend some time on it tomorrow, starting with getting the mount in ( the right way up) and seeing if the engine hits the frame lol.
    thanks, carl.

What made you choose the Gilera engine over an air cooled Carl ? Wont the Gilera engine be more hassle ?

    Remi :)

To be honest i dnt really have a awnser for that one lol.

iv only ever had 1 aircooled engine lol, i havnt got anything against them or anything plus im aware that they can be just as fast as some wc engines, but i suppose i just preffer water cooled.

yh of course its gonna be more hassle than using a aircoold lump and i wouldnt have to deal with having a radiater/hoses hanging out the bottom of my bike lool, but i suppose im just gonna have to deal with it lol

thats not the main problem wiht them tho.. the MAIN problem with wc nrg's/typhs is you have to cut the hell out of the pannels and cable tie shit together... its SO bodge.. hence if you want a wc just buy a runner/drag. even if you use a drag rad in the front like i did its still bodge, if done right yes they work, but its ALOT of messing about for absoloutly NO gains whatsoever, especially when its a 125 as runner 125 cylinders are plain shit imo

yh i know what your saying about cable ties n that m8, but im only gunna be using them on the loom..plus i know you will call it a bodge because of the rad hanging out n all that
but at the end of the day its just a bike im building to how i want it, i kno its in a 50 frame and to some people its classed as a ringer, but i just simply dnt care.

    ALL CRITISM WELCOME  .

well, if your openly breaking the law we have to remove you from the forum.. we dont like criminal's/illigal riders.

you CAN register a 50 as a 125 easily... adding cc is a peice of piss.. its when you try and reduce it the dvla get a little funny.

NO wc typh/nrg will ever be a nice bike. nor will one ever stay together for more than a year...your just another young boy who has this obsession with a wc bike, its clueless peer pressure thats all..

but ye, each to there own, once youve had a few you wiull soon realize ther enot worth the fucking about.

oh and mounting the rad there wont cool your bike, the rad needs to be above the engine and the bottle above the rad. but hey everyone else ignores this and burns through water jackets like a fat kid ploughs through a bag of greggs pastries.. meh

good luck with it ether way.. just a shame your another idiot killing some soon to be iriplacable nrg pannels

this is my eighth nrg iv built...i know there not really worth the hassle but ill say it again for you..ITS JUST A BIKE IM BUILDING TO HOW I WANT IT.
plus u dnt know me..u dont have the right to call me a young boy or a idiot ..i honestly expected more from a moderater/admin.
