Nice yeh but also very pricey to get the rest of the engine upto spec lol that's why it'll be a nice slow project
Took the mhr off today and swapped it for the stage 6 and changed back to my old airbox put a 68 jet in and it feels almost spot on just abit of fine tuning needed will get some proper pics up soon Here's the bike as it stands now Stage 6 streetrace 70 Dellorto 21mm jetted for airbox Pm 360 exhaust Mallosi rear shock 5.5g rollers Hoping to get a few more bits soon next on the list is variator
Because its going for a good price and it's gotta run better than a pm360 with the stage6 or the mhr lol I had a zx going with a ac Mhr before wasn't that bad mate tbh had vari and 125 carb
lol Hi Guys Forget the c21 and the c16 the pm360 snapped on me luckily my mate Had a stage6 pro rep laying around so brought it off him < That was Jan 28th The project at this point was almost complete just needed a few visual mods I Am Going to clean up the stage 6 And spray it in high temp Black Then around the 3rd of march i noticed there was a slight coolant leak so tightened the head just a lil bit when i got home left the bike overnight everything seemed ok i rode it for around a week and then went to ride it and it looked like it had pissed itself coolant everywhere so i fort id change the gasket but when i was undoing one of the nuts the stud spun and just pulled out (i know this is my fault when i tightened the head i used a extension) So i have brought a new Engine but its out of a Nrg Power i have the loom and clocks Has anybody ever tried putting a newshape Nrg engine loom and clocks on a oldshape Nrg ????????? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks guys
Why didn't you just do the sensible thing buy a new bolt for the cylinder kit and tap out the old thread ?
Local bike shop said its fooked mate the stud doesn't even bite atall where the stud sits in the casing the thread is completly gone I would rather use my old engine tbh but don't fink it's an easy fix like ur saying
You can just re tap the thread to a bigger size ? Or do what I did, Put the old rod in, Cut it off, weld it then drill it out and tap it, hard work but cheaper lol.
Ain't that bodge how long would do you reckon it would last ?? and I fink it would be sweet if I could have the digital clocks on a old shape nrg so gonna try fitting loom clocks and engine just want to know if anybody's tried or seen this before
Guys. Got a question. 5 year later i know. I have a mhr rep 70. The bike had a pm360 pipe and ran fine. I changed out for yasuni c16 now the bike picks up to about 25mph at 11krpm then power slowly but surely falls and revs decrease. Since then ive fitted a malossi delta force clutch and a white contra spring. Bike is running a 21mm dellorto with a 85 main jet.
