    Hi Guys

I’m quite new to the forum but not too new to the whole bikes/scooters world :)
I got NRG (LC) of my mate. It’s not been used for about 2 yrs, didn’t look well at all. I’ve spent one Saturday and managed to bring it back to life. It seems that it’s not been used much as clock only shows 600miles done from new. I took it for a short run couple times and noticed really strange thing. I had to rev it shi$t high to get it going from still, then suddenly kicks off. I managed to reach around 35mph ( I presume it’s OK for standard 50cc). I’ve had few scooters in the past (aerox, speedfight - factory standard) and they would kick off straight away! Is it quite normal with NRG’s that you have to rev them so high? :confused:cratch:
Now, I wanna play with it a little, just to keep my weekends busy  I’ve done few engine rebuilds/tune ups in the past (cars, buggies, bikes) so I’ll be doing work myself.
All I want to achieve is to be able to go 60 and do wheelies at reasonable reliability of the engine

    I’m planning to change:
*70cc kit – will probably go for 2 rings iron rather than aluminium
*pipe – Leo Vince TT (cheap and cheerful)
    *18 or 21 Dellorto or TNT carb + up-jetting
    *new inlet mani
    *new reeds
    *vari kit
    *new clutch
    *rollers+spring
*will probably stay with standard air box+good filter

I know it’s a lot to ask and will probably get shouted at, but I’d appreciate if you guys could help me choose brands/models for the above parts :beg: There is so much cr@p out there. As I said, my aim are wheelies and a decent speed.
Also, I still get a bit confused with roller weights and different types/colours of main (clutch spring). If I got it right, I understand I need lighter rollers and stiffer spring if I wanna better take off/ do wheelies? I’m I right?

    Sorry for a long post.
    Thanks in advance

You can wheelie a standard bike ? You don't need a 70's to do it. Properly setup a iron kit will wheelie nicely. the rollers what come with the tt are only good for if you're just using that. You'll need heavier ones.

Ok thanks! I'm gona go for malossi sport 70 I think. I already have lots of rollers and sliders so will try something between 6,5 - 8g? Also which clutch spring would be best? There are yellow, red, blue and whites?
    Thanks
