Hi was just wondering as my second nrg which I have just put back together will post some pics and everything is standard apart from being derestricted I know the usual jet size is 53 but this has a 56 in it but seems to stay at 2500 revs for about 10 secs before dropping down is that possible upjetting,i have never touched the jets as I bought it 18 months ago as a non runner and was going to do it up for a neighbour but they moved do its been left.Changed all the panels, new forks and degreased about 1/2 of gunk and mud covering the carb and engine also notice the rear wheel doesn't move when on the stand until about 5000 revs is that right they normally spin on tickover.
I have changed the belt new rollers 5g and new standard filter and plug as well and cleaned the carb.
    Many thanks

check to make sure the throttle cable isnt snagging when you release. If its fine then a twiddle with the mixture screw to richen things up a bit and reset the idle should be all thats necessary.

The 56 jet should be okay if the scoot was running fine before. I take it there is just a standard exhaust fitted?

The wheel normally spinning on tickover is just vibration etc in the engine and can be stopped with a finger pressure. So yours not spinning is nothing to worry about so long as it moves freely by hand and doesnt appear to be dragging on the brake or anything.

Yes standard exhaust, will have a play about with the mixture screw, was just a bit worried as I haven't taken it out yet but noticed it take about 4000 revs to make the wheel move when its on the stand, just thought as its been stood so long outside but covered if the clutch might be playing up.Was just wondering if anyone on here wants to swap a nrg mc3 inner leg guard for a typhoon one, this is brand new bought off here over a year ago but appears to not fit the mc3 as it isn't as wide.

Got the wheel spinning on tickover stripped down the gearbox and clutch found there was a tablespoon of black oil in the gearbox and that is no joke so cleaned everything re-greased and fresh oil, just got to wait for the float bowl gasket as its leaking like a pig and take it for a mot

Ordered the dellorto pvha repair kit from ped parts they sent a motoforce one and completely different the needle is held solid with no movement in the float bowl and is not spring loaded like the dellorto one also if clipped into the float bowl it wont line up with the hole as they are off center have emailed them to see if they have sent the wrong one out.One day I will get this going lol
