Hi all I have a piaggio nrg 50cc. my water pump went so I replaced that and the piston while the engine was in bits. I have had the bike running and working fine been out on it seemed ok Went to go back out on it a few minuets later, I tried to start my bike it started but cut out after few seconds, tried again it did the same the 3rd time I tried to start it the kick start locked and wouldn’t go down Any ideas?
Hi, when you did the water pump did you replace the main brgs, was the crank nice and free after mating the casings, we had a similar problem after being sold some so called 'race main brgs'lasted a few miles!!!! brgs heat up lock the crank etc...cools down starts again all be it 'noisey' ......liam
hi m8 not sure what you mean 'main brgs' all i changed was the water pump which came as a repiar kit and i changed the piston and piston rings but dose sound lyk my bike
