not sure if its been asked but i checked and didnt find it so quick questions, 1. Do nrg forks fit straight onto a 125 typhoon with no modding necersery (125 frame) and if they do can i run both locking nuts .? 2. do i need a new caliper or is my typhoon one fine .? thanks phil
bolt on fine and caliper fits.. wont be able to fit the typh wheel as it will have a smaller disk (in most cases) some of the nrg's had a small disk on the front and typhoon forks tho so check what they are. if its a 3 bolt disk it will take your typhoon wheel, if its a 5 bolt disk it will need an nrg/runner wheel. everything else fits tho (speedo cables off other bikes for whatever moddle) steering lock works fine too. its a straight swap other than the wheel
thanks, what about the rear one, its new shape engine if that makes a difference, its got 180 gilera drum one at the moment but dont wana buy a nrg wheel if it dont fit, would it have to be a/c drum nrg wheel .? thanks phil
the 125/180 engine uses a 200mm drum (unless its an old shape typhoon engine) ALL the 50's have a 108mm drum. so the nrg wheel wont fit any 125 engine unless its an old shape typhoon... can see if its a small drum or big pritty easy as the small shape 125 doesent have a dipstick on the back
