Right i found these pics when i was bored and sudenly i got interested so i plan to make one simaler to this.

My questions are would i need to do another mounting to the engine like from under it to stop it swinging. I was also wondering would i need to weld a few strengthening bars on af the frame isnt used to the stress there also what do you reckon the stress on the engine will be like could it snap etc also would this corner atall as i would like to make the wheel base longer.
I plan to use maybe a suzuki ts50x rear shock as i have one and its ajustable or i might go for a better gas one or something. I also have a spare nrg frame and engine i can use to practice on.
Does anyone know what metal is a nrg frame made from and what thickness about i need to know as my dad will be doing the welding and this is what he asked me to find out i know he can do the welding as he has made many chassis for trains and crap like that.
and how do you rekon it would fair on road not too botherd about comfort just the engine snaping.
    thanks andy.

hate to be the boring old fart, but what exactly is the point in doing all the custom work? fair enough it might look a bit dandy, but your back end is going to be flexing more, wheelies will be harder and fucking dangerous once its up.

i just see no logical reason to do all that frame work when at the end of the day, nothing is being IMPROVED.

compression of the shock is actually increased for every degree of movment on the engine. so softer long action shocks make for smoother action, also theres less side flex like with side shcok.
over engineering for such silly gains tho and fuck knows why he added weight to a lightend frame
all about asthetics tbh but the bike looks confused about what its ment to be

i duno, i can still see that flexing more when you're leaning on a roundabout etc.

i can just see it all ending in tears.

that looks a nice bike, a bit of work had gone on it, but as minor sed, what the heck is it for?

not very aerodynamic for a sprinter - probably what it was made for but hardly any tracks in this country
wouldnt even show it a blade of grass let alone off road
obv cant use for the road
cant use for car parks - attracts too much attention (old bill)

a little pointless really in this country

not many treacks? are you mad? theres more than 10 drag strips and 40 static tracks used for bikes. aswell as the league run coned tracks on airfields. sprinting is the only reason for peds now as you cant park em anywhere, get chased by dickheads doubled up on 180 runners and there worth more in cash than they are as a vehicle. a cars cheaper to run than a tuned bike

but anyway.. the suspention will be as rigid as the mounting of the cantilever and the second mount point on the engine. i cant see the second mount on the engine tho so cant say how strong it will be.
