Nrg bogs out when chokes off

Having problems with my nrg it's got a malossi 70 cc nd a TNT carb and can't get the jettin right I know some ones Gunna say read our Jettin guide n I've read every1 ther is but it doesn't tell me if I need to go higher or lower jet I've got a standard air box n I've tryed from a 68 to 78 78s been best so far so should I keep goin up when apparently a 70 jet good for my bike when it isn't

 

its obviously lean if it works with choke on so bigger jet

but also i remember being told them tnt cheap carbs come with idle jets waaaayy to big for a wee ped

Idle jet? Do u mean pilot or main jet

Mines a nrg extreme n it come with a webber carb standard and u can't get bigger jets for them

 

them tnt carbs dont have the best rep bud wont a dell 17.5 fit onto yours ?

 

yeh not gunna lie tnt carbs r shite ye am thinkin of getting a dell 17.5

 

y not just by a 21mm for a couple of extra ££

yeh am goin to get the stage 6 21mm can any one recomend a jet size to start with a standard air box

 

I hada simular problem with a tnt carb which i was doing for a friend i out a 17.5 dellorto with 72 jet and airbox ran fine

 

bikes all gd now jetting wise got a stage 6 21mm carb n tryed a 72 ran well but used to much petty so got a 70 in ther n its gd spark plugs bit to brown but it still runs fine
