NRG BOGGING HELP.

Hey, when i start my NRG up, it bogs when i first accelarate. I have to keep the revs up otherwise it would bog and set off really slow when pulling out into a road. This is becoming a problem, help please!

 

what did you do to the nrg again mate??? lol what mods are on it?

have you alltered the jetting to suit the new pipe and changed the roller weights to suit the pipe as well

 

it has a 71 jet on it

 

That don't mean nowt ...have you upped the het by 10% and what carb is it

 

Should be a 60-62 jet! Fit a 62 an it should run fine

 

like oli said i have the same pipe on my nrg and a 62 is just on the rich side so a 60 is spot on but thats with the stock air box fitted.

 

mine has the stock air box, it ran fine up until about 2months ago when it started to bog? so it can;t be the jet.

 

maybe someone messed with your carb?? maybe the air needs adjusting??

 

everything is okay on the carb, i have chacked, im getting a new one soon anyway

 

hmmm... weird... have you checked belt rollers ect??? also check the clutch springs... that could be the possible problem...
