NRG - Any tips to changing the oil pump belt ?

bought a new oil pump belt to fit as ive refreshed everything else and wondered how i go about fitting it, like do i need to bleed the oil pump after etc.

any tips would be great

 

There is a cross headed screw in the middle of the oil pump.
Loosen this screw until you get a constant flow of oil and then tighten .

 

Cheers, might be a silly question but does anything need to be on when i bleed it ?

 

No nothing needs to be on.
Just make sure you have plenty of 2 stroke oil in your tank and it will be gravity fed down to your pump when you loosen the screw.
It may not need bleeding as you are only changing the belt but doesn't hurt to do it.

 

Cheers for the advice, might aswell give it all a good clean out while im there tomorrow, changed my gearbox bearing today, feels so much better already
