Right bought a nrg 50 complete! Totally gutted the bike back to bare frame got all hexagon loom for bike for a 125(converted to 180) engine... now i used the 50 engine mount which fitted pukka with no headeache(after grinding mount to size) but once engine is in the shock is really out of line but the wheels have great alignment... ive just ordered a typh 125 mount to bolt in but before i start cutting and shutting i thought i would seek advice from yourselves as im a novice at these conversions but have been working on bikes since i was 14 now 25 so if anyone can offer any tips that would be appreciated( please be aware i dont wanna buy a 125 typh and stick nrg panels on it ive got this far and im not giving up ive made a start so i shall finish) :yahoo:

a 125 mount will not work on a 50 frame without some serious bodge it would have to be welded solid and this isnt good as its not designed to
if youve still got a standard 50 shock then it should be in line but too tight too fit you would have to either get a 125 shock (best) or grind the spacer down on the cases.
best thing to do would be buy a typh 125 frame . makes things easier for insurance ect

For a scorp I dont think you need to upjet at all, maybe to a 86 at most. And it should run ok on just 12.5g rollers.

I'd like to hear how well or bad this bike rides when you've finished it!

Im pretty sure a 180 2T runs a 86 or 88 jet standard. The 125's run a 82.5 jet. So I would start with a 90 and down jet untill it runs best.
