nrg 172 tphoon engine n loom battery terminals

hi i was wondering if anyone can help me im doin a nrg 172 project and ive got most of the electrics converted over to fit the nrg im haveing trouble finding the battery terminals ive manage to find how the red one goes on the relay to the fuse and to the plus termnal but i cant seem to fing the negative one so is there any person that can tell me how i can make one up is it a case of just earthing it to the frame then running it to the neg terminal if that make sense and ill be putting it in the project bit soon thanks

 

got the same problem with my sr loom

 

but theres like 5 black wires minor

 

well where do they all earth to its so confusing can i not just earth um all to the frame ?

 

is the starter one the one that comes from the engine ??

 

thanks minor that sorts that out be doin that tommorow and then sort sum off the switches out on the typhoon loom thay have a hi and low beam switch and a switch to turn the light on and off like the runners do or dont thay as ive got 2 switches on the typhoon loom and when i run a live to them the dash lights cum on and same with the other plug hope that makes sense lol
