Re: no starting ur battery is fucked, no recharge will fix that... oh and its not starting because your kicking it like a fanny... give it a decent kick, should fire up. if not (new plug obviously) then check the reeds... first things first, do you have a spark? is there petrol comming through (take the plug out and electric start at full throttle, will smell fuel comming out the plug hole)
Re: no starting yer i got a new ngk br8es , there was a spark yesterday but just went to try again and there's no spark. there's fuel comeing through the carb....done the electric start at full throttle and i can smell fuel. kicked it like a horse and still no luvk but as u say probs the battary..
wont be the battery stopping it from starting...can start it with no battery. br8es is the wrong plug.. you wanna get a br9es because it COULD make it run too hot and damage something. should still start with one though. ht lead? plug cap? if you say theres no spark i would be looking around the stator/cdi/coil/earth but i dont see how the spark could just go in a day?? make sure all youre electrcal bits are connected as they should be. if it was sparking and still wouldnt start that probably aint youre problem though.. check youre reeds, choke and maybe give the carb a little clean if it still wont start the only thing i can think of is the barrel. how did it stop working? cut out.. or you turned it off and it just wouldnt turn back on
yerr well the br8es was on there b4 when i got the bike so thort get that 1 thinking it would start up.... but neways i left it idleing for like 10 mins b4 this problem came up went to ride off and it just bog'd out and died tryed starting it ran for like couple sec's then bog'd out and havent been able to start it since.
got it in one...wrong plug. needs a br9es to stay alive inside the engine (put basicly) the plug is now fucked and wont spark again, if you do get it to spark your engine will soon kill it again. replace it wiht a new br9es and give it a GOOD kick... it will run wihtout the battery, but it wont electric start.. the battery (or starter motor altho i doubt it) is fucked... you do need a lesson in kickstarting a bike tho.

hi im back lol ive managed to get it started but only when the throttle is pulled all the way back and when i release it , it cuts out and it wont idel, but there is alot of fuel coming out of the tube at the bottom of the float bowl, and alot of smoke from the exhaust and it smells realll bad , also the spark plug is starting to go black. cheers
float is stuck open, probably flooding the engine, take the bottom of the carb apart and clean it all.... your reeds are also a probable cause of the poor starting. check these while you have the carb apart.
sup minor , opend the bottom of the carb and the fucking idle jet was in the float bowl...lmao cleaned the carb put it back togather and run's fine...cheer's for ur reply's...
the plug is the same one just has a different heat range, wont change much tbh glad you got it sorted. a weird one for sure if its not been touched before. dont you love things that you can notice straight away :mrgreen:
they must all be magic plugs.. as its a known problem a br8es will run once and die in a 125.. ive never managed to get more than one run out of a br8es,,, nor has anyone else ive asked today.
