I bought a nice new camera so me and mehmet did abit of whoring...only a 1.6 16valve, 1.8 turbo conversion in the next month or so (or whenever i can be bothered to call the place up) lol
That a R32 body"kit"?? porshe wheels look tiny with the low body =/ Nice set of RS4's look shweeet nice ride though bud :good: :good:
yeah r32 bodykit lol, not standard rear r32 though as they originally had two exhaust exits so the rear is a rep..yeah i do like the porche alloys alot but they need to be bigger, the front is too low,( ive already had that bumper fixed back on twice) will start looking into some new alloys tonight
loose the faggy bonnet bra... SO fuckin gay (i dont get why people put these on there vw's.. its only vw's too ) wheels ARE too small as you say and its a 4 door wiht a r32 kit? so its a 1.6 petrol ye LOL
cars don't have tits so don't give them bra's no stickers and some proper golf alloys will look bangin
Yes minor its a 1.6 like I said in the first post...but yeah I like it as it is so not gonna change it
car bra's are SO gay, everyone i meet at vw events who actually has one is infact gay (or atleast a regular patron to the hair salon, owns a set of hair straighteners and have a "dressing" mirror in there car) get rid man, its SUCH a gay thing (even the vw boys know its a sign of being gay, its the only bra a man can have and show off to other men) id guess its hiding some dirt dent/they fucked up trying to debadge it, then hid it wiht a bra LOLOL nah tho, its got potential.. know a geeza with the wheels to match your kit if your interested? those look SO much better on a polo (dodgy adaptors needed tho obv) why not just BUY a 1.8 turbo? the 20v engine/loom is TOTALLY different to yours, you proittymuch have to buy half a car to do this (talkin engine, box, shafts, struts as its a 4 door 1.6, loom, dash, seats, rad, pedal box/biast valves blah blah... then you got the usual shit, there always in need of a new turbo as there 270 bearing, the list go's on) my m8 just got a FRESH one, vr6 interior, r32 rims for less than 2 grand....
nice car, and as said lose the bra and get a cupra splitter on the fromt bumper. you just need the engine loom and the standard dash and clocks can stay in and dont need to change the pedal box or anything. its pretty simple really.
What are you on about mate. Why would you need new seats to do a 1.8t conversion...or dash....???? Altho it already has the recaro interior anyway. Its quite a easy job...engine loom and box? Its been done alot and very common. You dont need new rad or ignition barrel or Clocks, he just needs the important bait stuff like downpipe intercooler etc. Bonnet bra looks really nice, and no its not just on vw's ive seen alot on clio's astra's etc. Its just something diffrent aint it, thats what draws the attention. Its a really nice car, could do with bigger wheels but no rush for that as it looks nice as it is.
Looks like a good example. Did you get the kit fitted and bits and bobs done yourself? Not a fan of the wheels, even on a porsche and think they look too small on the chunk of a golf. Kinda nice though even for a 5 door. I can see the attraction .
thought the 1.6 non turbo and the 1.8 turbo used a diff pedal box/dash.... reason i said seats/the other shit is quite frnakly why the hell would you want to use the base model seats in a turbo? by the time he';s bought this, bought a new box/engine/loom (and funny enough you NEED the ecu to match the engine not the car, so new key's/immobilizer pickup/new key barrel from the donor car is the easiest way) it would have cost him what, 3 grand all in? thats the original car, the new engine/loom/anything your gonna need, aswell as service items as theres no point putting a new engine in wihtout doing the head gasget/changing turbo, inlet/exhaust gsasgets, list go's on) then fitting.. so thats what, 3 odd grand on a car you could have just bought for less than 2.... if you want a turbo, buy a turbo... only way to get a non turbo to be a turbo on the cheap is to nick a car.... otherwise its just cheaper and easier to BUY a car wiht the engine you want.. you get a better interior, original numbersa and an honest car... for less... and oh yem, you dont have to do fuck all to it except put petrol in it ad drive.
Full recaro interior  looks abit better now, lost that cap that was loose in th,e pic but mehmet hooked me up with some more, took the chrome door handle covers off, and took the whores wanted sticker of the back and it looks MUCH better imo.... but yeah 1.8t soon. 1500 all in, they pick the car up fit it all then drop it back 6 months parts and labour warrenty BLAH BLAH BLAH you know lol....
1500 all in? i can buy a turbo mk4 for that dogh m8.... your doing this the REAL expensive way.... yes its common to do, as lots of young boys buy new ish small engine cars, go out, nick a turbo and dump it in wihtout telling the insurane... there is no need.. your spending 1500 quid making this car worth LESS than when you bought i (unless of course your registering the new engine numbers and declairing its now a 20v turbo engine in there) in wich case insurance will be TWICEwhat it is on a stock one as golf made it, not some random guy in his garage (the way an insurance company see it) just sell it and BUY a turbo.... get a NICE 52 plqte for under 2 bags easy
after mehmet bought a 1.8t yesterday i decided im just gona wait for my years no claims then get one...and minor mate under 2 for a 52 plate? find me one and ill suck your dick, a buyable one that is, under 90k and in good nick...
hmm ive personally seen mk4 1.6's go for around 800 ? not so much now though second hand cars seem to have gone up abit since this scrapage schemes came in =/
Never seen an Mk4 golf for under £1600 for a decent basic one. Usually see them for £1800 - £2100 and we're talking 1998 S reg - 51 tops. Those things hold money. No way would they be under a grand even in scotland! Learn from ther gillys, easier to buy something factory quick and call it a day rather than tuning it yourself wasting money risking reliability, breaking down, this blowing that blowing, all that nonsense etc. What insurance group is the 1.8t golf?
