no top end speed

    can someone please help me by telling me why my bike has no top end speed ?? has standard airbox with snorkel removed, gianelli exhaust and 17.5mm dellorto carb..... i have emoved the washer from the variator but it still wont go over about 35 :( can somebody please help its really annoying me ,greatful for alll replys

    have you gogled what restrictors your bike has? may have missed one

    I think there are more restrictors than that one, also was the exhaust de-ristricted?

    what size rollers have you got in it?if there really light you will have really quick accelerator and no top end speed?

    If the rollers are too light then you wont even get good acceleration cos it wont rev high enough to get the rollers out

    thanks for replys i'm not sure what rollers it has in it i think the bike was completely standard as i put the exhaust and crab on myself also my mate has gave me some stage 6 reeds, what weight rollers would you suggest ???

    Have you taken the restrictor washer out of the exhaust. As for weights try a 4g and put the snorkel back on to see if that makes a difference.

    where abouts would the washer be in the exhaust and will order some rollers as soon as i can and will try it with the snorkel back on, i thoughtit increased perfromance without the snorkel though

    the chances are your rollers are far too heavy, so the bike wont rev out. drop them and see how it goes, the exhaust should be fine, they do have a restrictor in them but you should get more then 35 from a sprts pipe with the restrictor in.

    The restrictor in the gianelli exhaust is basically a washer at the inlet, you can't miss it as it's held in by 2 spot welds.
