Mmm.all the stuff behind the spinny round thing that makes the spark that makes the wheels go round
find it behind the opposite side to the variator.its the coils and stuff that lets the cdi know where the crank is for firing on its way round.if you've replaced all the outside stuff and its still not working...multi meter time..

Checked the startor plate all looks good. No breaks in it or that. Still no spark. It has an alarm and remote start, could it be an immobiliser problem? Anybody know how to check this or bypass it?

Got a sukida Roma with a disabled(fuse pulled)alarm imobiliser remote start.if you pull it off it still starts as normal but wont turn off till its plugged in.theres 2 wires you can short to completely remove it and use the key as normal.un helpfully..i cant remember the wires..but having it in and fuse pulled is all i can do so you may have the same set up,you leave it in and fuse pulled job done.looks like you may have deeper problems.have you got lights and starter motor running...and as marsh said...check that side stand switch.just pull it at the connector under the foot board or where it joins.

Have you checked for correct resistance across the timing coil thingy bits with a meter.lighting coils wont matter at this stage cos they usually do the lights direct or charge the battery and lights come from there.if the spark sensor coil is wrongly spaced from the rotor,it can nause your spark up too.

You can't check the stator and pickup visually, you need the multimeter and info to check across pins to make sure you get the right ohms readings. But seeing as you already spent on the cdi, coil and stuff, spend a little more and put a new stator and pickup up in there.

Cheers. I will invest in a stator and pickup coil. Can you recommend a good online place to buy one? Thanks for all the advice guys.
