    Hello everyone,

I have been searching and trying to get someone to help me out fix this problem i have on my 125 4t scooter.
when i got the scooter i got the following parts.

    Rollers kit
    Pulley plate
    Belt
    Oil Changed
    New Battery
    New Starter Motor
    New Solenoid
    New Spark Plug

I got my self a multimeter and here is the results i got:

Moped key switched off battery volts: 12v
    Solenoid: 12.01v
Red Wire from battery to Ground wire: 12.03v
CDI ground wire and CDI Power white wire: 0.19v
Coil grey wire and red from battery: 11.37v
Ground to Yellow cable to Coil: 18/19v

I just keep getting the click sound coming from the solenoid which is brand new.
    Any tips would help!

Have you tried giving power straight to the starter to see if it turns?

yeah If you put power straight to the motor and it does nothing then the starters knackered

Well if the solenoid is clicking that says to me that the solenoid is working on the "switched" side which closes the contacts within the solenoid and connects the starter motor to the battery. if the starter isnt working then i would check the connections from the battery to the starter.

I cant say for sure without seeing your bike, but on most of mine they have a +ve from the battery to the solenoid, then from the other solenoid terminal a +ve going to the starter, the starter is then earthed straight back to the battery

As for the lack of spark, how are you checking this without a starter motor?

connect the motor up to a battery with a set of jump leads, if it does nothing then send it back to where you got it from, if it spins its good so then trace your wires back to the solenoid and make sure it is wired up correctly,

Although come to think of it, if it is not sparking either i would be considering swapping the CDi for a known good one (got any mates with the same ped?)
