Just fitted my 70 kit and new variator, but when I give it throttle from standstill, it crawls forward, sounds like its bogging, then after about 5 seconds, the revs kick in.. could this be clutch springs (if so do i need stiffer or less stiff?) or jetting??
did you upjet the carb when you installed the 70 kit if not you will need to do this and maybe play around with the roller wights and clutch springs
yeah i have upjetted. i've got a feeling its somthing to do with the transmission rather than jetting tho
as minors sed before the rollers dont affect the first few seconds after you pull off so it would b either clutch springs or jetting i would say get sum stiffer springs then if it doesnt cure the problem have a play around with the carb setup
it will do as its going through the gears slower. needs diff clutch springs in deffo. if the revs drop of as you get faster the rollers are too heavy, if the revs sit nice all the way to top speed the rollers are fine.
the revs do drop slightly, so i might drop the roller weight .5g and get some stiffer clutch springs after i've finished running in and can make a better judgement
