its not just a matter of bolting it on , u need further engine work. or ur will fry the piston with a press of a button, if u get it done proply den go for it , i fink dat would be sick , and probly the first 172 areox with nos.
whats included in the kit, is it for a scoot? your gonna want a fuel pump for it if not included otherwise your gonna run super lean? i would have one tomorrow if i had the cash
is only going to cause problems on a road going small engine 2t. like said will need a fuel feed or will win lean as a mother. and by the time you bought it got it set all up perfect have have spent the money on something more useful.
make sure it has a fuel feed so you can premix it with a higher amount of 2 stroke. standard injection is way too lean. iv not had any expirience with these kits, but its commen sense. the question really lies on, do you want to spend £170 on a small increase you will rarely use? if yes, the next question is, will your crank hold up? if its standard im willing to bet it wont as they are made to stand the basic engines output. not mass increase in miliseconds. but again, your not stupid you already know the risks. so it up to you you have a malossi crank, is that what you planned on hooking it up to? just my 6th 2 stroke sense tho
buy it.. ill buy it if not. WELL cheap if nothings busted/seized.. can talk you through fitment if you like.
well like minor says, it is very cheap. its worth picking up for the sake of its price, it can always be sold for more or you can rig it up and kep it, you win either way.
WILL YOU IDIOTS STOP CALLING IT NOS! n.o.s stands for nitrous oxide system's.. same as its NOT a fucking hoover its a brand name.. idiot films full of retarded slang piss me off as for the plan, yes buy the kit and fit it. if you think its the only gassed up rox in the world your MAD.. PLENTY euro's running 38bhp 80cc rox's
nitrous unk: you should do step by step instalation pics just so if anyone ever does the same the guidelines with pics are here on the shack. can't wait so see a vid of this
looks a bit like the sneaky pete system, tank looks a bit bigger though so probably aint. also, like carb's there are jets that control the injection amount. do you know what its currently setup as? This is based off everything iv read, so wait for someone with more expirience and as minor stated, NOS is Holley's own label.
jetting, youve got to run the nitrous system with the right fogger jet, and its not as easy as it sounds its got to be set up properly otherwise youll seize it in seconds you adjust the concerntration with different fogger jets, i thought about doing it to a 50 before but quickly got out of thinking about it, like minor said if its cheap run it max ,i think?,it looks like youve bought a wet system which injects the nitrous oxide in with the fuel which is the more expensive version of nitrous and yes you have to run it in with the carb and drill out a hole or something if it is a wet system which i think it is then you wont have to upjet to compensate for a sudden rush of nitrous, youll only have to sort your jetting out and thats about it, also the wet system is supposed to be more powerful, NX claims theyre systems are supposed to make the motor run at about 50% - 100% better than before so you could potentially double your motors output bhp, which is better than the dry system as they are only supposed to give something like 30- 60 % max and require more setting up as the nitrous is directly injected into the carburretor so youll need to compensate for fuel lose by uprating the main jet, but you wont need to worry about it i would suggest buy a couple of different sized fogger jets and start with the smallest one a jet too big will blow the motor in seconds... :msn1: If it was me i would thinking about getting a psi gauge too, nothing worse i bet than showing off your new shiny tank of gas then pressing the red button then you get raced by a stock fiesta
