Im bored of the corsa already. Shes great for slow a-b stuff, but nothing serious. Cant complain for a 1.2 16v though. But i dont know whats next? If i sell my corsa i recon id get 3k at least? Research reveals some are up for as much as £3700. So whats next, something quicker, but not a killer on insurance and preferably no more than 2k. I was thinking along the lines of VTS, or is that all wrong? I'll be 18, 2 years ncb. Any ideas?
on topic of cars i saw a 1.9 205 gti the otherday but it was an auto!!! bloke said he thought there only around 10-15 in england with 150 being produced all in all???
what a waste cratch: Ressin, If you're thinking of going VTS, you may want to check the insurance group before you splash the cash, even with NCD, it'll prob be more than the cost of the car
cratch: your quotes wont be the same as his mate as your not the same person.... plus the thread is r.i.p :cray:
forget all these 16 year old dreamers..... if you want a wquick car wiht cheap insurance for your age cant go wrong wiht an old civic type r... the vts/106gti are SILLY on insurance and are basicly slow and shit.. sell the shitbox corsa, pretend it never happend and find yourself somthing YOU like.. insurance is just somthing you have to factor into the cost of the car.. can buy and insure an impretza for 4 grand at your age even.. ye its prittymuch half and half with the insurance and cost of the car but its possible.. see what you fancy, do a quote and minus this from your fund.. yes insurance is expwensive but the more you pay the quicker it comes down.
graham are you serious? an ek9 (old shape civic type r) will cost a fortune to insure, their some rediculous insurance group! and the EP3 newer shape ones (one that im after) is even worse, 2ltr vtec cost a lot to insure! best bet would be get something small and rapid, swift gti, toyota starlet, something like that, small engines but decent power, keep insurance down and you dont have to roll in a corsa.
friend a few years back had a saxo vtr... little 1.6. was 19 and payd near on 2 grand.. his civic the same year cost him 700 quid to insure...
