    Hi All,

Im new to this forum and scootering in general (come from an enduro background) so be easy with me!

I've recently bought a stock SR 125 (apart from exhaust) for whipping into town, sunday and sunny evening cruises and for going down the beach as the traffic in Cornwall in the summer is terrible! After spending a few hours in this forum i'm pretty sure on what I'm going to do with the engine. (172, 25mm carb, gear up etc). I bought the scoot with a PM exhaust on it, but after riding it for a couple of evenings this week its already doing my head in, its very loud! I went through my local sleepy fishing village called Fowey in Cornwall and i nearly got off the thing and pushed it through! My KTM SX 250 is quieter than this bad boy lol! everyone was looking, embarrassing to say the least!

This leads me to my first question ... i need a quieter pipe, any recommendations?

Next thing is that I've seen a couple of images floating around of SR125's with a rear disc conversions. Anyone here done this? I have a flat spotted back wheel at the moment and need to replace it so i was looking at getting a runner back wheel, disc etc. and doing this at the same time. I had a look at my casing and I have what look like mounting holes for a brake caliper on the lower side. Any information would be ideal as I cant find anything!

Also, is there another AC engine for this scoot as I see alot of people saying they are going to get the "newer engine", whats the reason for this?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before, i have searched the forum for a couple of hours and cant really find much!

    Shaun.
