i have started to tune my moped, i have a yasuni z pipe, a Malossi Multivar Variator kit, Motorforce Drivebelt, im running standard weight rollers and standard airbox, with the variator kit it comes with a white clutch pulley spring thats fitted, im running standard clutch and springs, and when the bike gets going its fine but i seem to have a big flat spot upto and around 6k and after 7kish it clears and the bike flys, can anyone help as to what this could be? Oh and im running a 60 Main jet, can anyone help with how i can fix the flat spot?
variator belt and pipe...mmm..ide say try it with the standard pipe.that might be affecting the jetting..if you stick some lighter rollers in the variator it might help it pick up better and pull a bit more before the engine starts to rev...what bike is it....2 stroke or 4 stroke???
Hi guys i have got a polini air filter but a standard carb can i re jet it if so which bits shall i get for it.
ide have a word with some one like ped parts..theyde be able to tell you more about that sort of thing..gotta play with my carb AGAIN..wouldnt start this morning..same aggro as i had with it before i change the carb for a new one..got an 80cc kit for it too to do but aint gonna fit it till its running ok..bloody chink bikes..and the g.f,s sons just bought one too..like asian flu....its contagious..
