the fittings are security torx. You can get the proper tool as part of a set from places like screwfix or machine mart...around a fiver for the set

also, waste of time running a std carb with all the mods...If you arn't getting the fuel in fast enough all the other mods will be pointless

20.5? get a standard runner carb, can pick one up cheap usually and just get a 125 inlet , i found it a bitch to set up though tbh...

need the carb that has aan idle mix screw, a manual choke and a diff needle but yes the runner carbs do work well and are relativly cheap.

use what you have,m see if you want more. easiest/best way to tune

Pans got sanded, primed and sprayed in matt black today. (will add pics later)
going on holiday for a bit so i will put the stage 6 kit when im back and show what ive done.

ive noticed that the bike runs fine on the first ride but gradually the acceleration gets a bit poorer and it seems like its loosing power nd bogs a bit.

anyone have a solution?? do u rekon rollers and clutch springs need changin?

if its fine when it first starts then gets bad as it heats up chances are the choke's stuck on...

if you mean first time you rode it it was fine but now it feels shit hot or cold it could well be somthing else. maybe rings.. if its completly stock the only things that can really break and cause this are reeds, blocked jet, choke, rings, seals.

sure you will get to the bottom of it. give it a GOOD clean. whip the carb off if you know how to, give it a rebuild, change all the fluids.. check the oil pump belt is intact and rebleed the oil pump.

just spotrted an engine cover missing in one of the pics... this WILL make it heat up and cause the "bogging" find/buy an engine cover. it needs it to keep cool

Back now, and the sanding, priming and painting has been done.
grey primer and matt black used, i might add another coat of matt black and spray over in clear laquer.

    Heres what it looks like.
