new variator?

    would a new variator help me for topend and acceleration an aftermarket one like malossi? ive gt standard aerox 05 but de restrcited. my mate got a malossi variator for his ped and made a lot of difference but his has race 50 pipe crank carb gearup etc etc.

    think about it. hows it gona give u kore top speed (only will give you more top speed if your roller weights atm are totally wrong)it will improve acceleration if set up right tho

    yes will be an improvement on the std variator ;)

    Buy a 70 kit if you want more power and speed... then buy new a variator...

    U could spend loads on transmission parts and a 70 with a pipe will fly past you ;]

    ive got 3 points mate so no im not, im gonna save up loads for when im 17 tho then it wil be malossi 70 crank carb gear up bvariator etc.

    if you want a quick stealth scooter!!

    go for a 70 kit, variator, and all the shizzle but keep the std derezzed pipe on!!

    will still go plenty quick but will look std to the casual observer, plus will be nice and
    quiet, so wont be attracting attention ;)

    oh and learn to ride with 1 eye on your mirrors, anything that looks remotely like a police car.....SLOW DOWN!!!! :D

    can chipped variator slides make a difference one of mine is slightly chipped and it speed dips at 20-30. i have new rollers tho!

    you on about the little triangular plastic bits???

    all depends where the chip is, and if it effects the movement of the guide ;)

    Those triangular plastic bits are included with Polini roller sets.
    I bought them from http://www.ecossescooter.co.uk/ for a pretty good price on Ebay.

    it has chipped in the l/h side bottom corner (you know it kind of looks like an arrow or n shape)
