Firstly like to introduce myself...I'm new here and heard this forum was great for tips, advice etc. I currently own Yamaha aerox 55 plate (2005) I bought the aerox for 350 it needed some TLC..but it was in working order. I'm going to give you as much information as possible to help work out what I need to do. Far as I'm aware it has stage6 variator 3.5g rollers..unsure on the belt. Stage6 Pro REP..(RESTRICTED) still has tac welds and restrictors inside. Since putting on 70upjet and new exhaust my bike seems to be slow sh*t off the start it takes loads of throttle to get going, smokes more then a ped should. It's also 50cc. Its fast when cold and so so sooo slow when warmed up. I took out the snorkle from the AF (just so you know) This months pay I'm looking to get 70 stage 6 kit and full circle crank as my aerox looks amazing and does turn heads...but I really can't deal with this slow horid speed and take off. Any suggestions at all and anything else you recommend me buying please. Money isn't a issue tbh as I'm on a decentish wage. Also my throttle seems to have a lot of play?.
My rollers are few days old and are 3.5. Yes I have to rev like crazy lol I did upjet to 70 which maybe why but again I'm unsure on how to tune the carb to your bike after new parts. I may go ahead and get new belt along with some other bits. It's just so annoying and sick an tired of it not running properly. Friend is coming over on weekend to have a look. Also snapped casing bolts...from the transmission case...how do you go about removing?.
Take the restrictor cone out the friggin exhaust first The stage 6 rep is a bitch to tune properly, but when it is, it's a good pipe. I had one on the Katana. It's no good trying to fit other tuning parts until the exhaust is derestricted, it just wont work.
I know tell me about it. But ped parts have to sell them c marked. Unless you pay for derestriction of the exhaust. Since restricting it and install MKII. 22MM DELLOR. CLUTCH. BELT. CRANK. It's running beautiful now...just takes so much of your time and money and only thing I need now is my throttle sorted and gear up . Do you recommend pre mix petrol and oil or just keep the oil bottle and petrol separate...been told both are good?
