** New to scooters **

Hey all I have jus purchased a Speedfight 2 off my friend, as far as i know its standard apart from the restrictor out the exhaust. Can anyone give me some tips and advice on cheap mods to make it a little bit quicker ? Im a car mechanic so i have knowledge on engines etc.. Also, what mods do i need to look out for that can fail M.O.T ? As i need to put it in for one as soon as.

The best value for money mod is a sports pipe for speedfights. This will set you back around 120-140 pounds (which includes price of pipe, price of jets to adjust the air-fuel mixture and delivery)

I can personally recommended the Doppler S3r for speedfights as I have I fitted which has lasted me well over a year in all weathers and also know a friend who has one fitted to his speedfight and hes had no problems.

Any decent scooter MOT place will allow sports pipes. Just make they are e marked ( dopplers are).
