New Ped starts but when revs it bogs down

Bought a ped recently to fix up, got it started, idles fine but when the power is applied, the engine bogs down and dies and the Ped hardly moves forward..? It has been derestricted by variator and Cdi but not exhaust, any ideas what it could be? Could it need upjetting? Any suggestions please? Peugeot V clic 2009 4t 50

 

its running lean probably, they are a bit like that when they are new, you will need to adjust the mixture screw to get it to run a bit better, shouldnt need upjetting though. you may also need to adjust the needle height too.

 

it had a split on air box pipe but taped it all up, dont think any airs coming in, but if it is could it be that, causing it to bog cause not enough fuel for the air?

 

probably something like that.
