Bought a new ped today Typhoon 50 05 Plate 4000 miles. £400. Was driving home earlier and it cut out.. like lost a bit of power then cut out.. He says it does this occasionly when I was looking at it.. It then wouldnt start I don't have a kickstart as it's making a grinding noise. still bought it cos most things can be fixed.. Money is not an issue tell me everything I need. Mind you I've ordered 70's and air filter will be here on tuesday!
just as a reminder http://www.scootershack.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4521 a 70 kit will not sort your problem unless it needs a new spark plug. which you should change with the kit dont waste money on a kit until you know the bikes problem first
why u puttin a link to my topic like it was my fault monty? the problem with my old engine was evidently the rings/piston. thats why i bought the kit....and it fixed it did it not? this problem is completely different from the problem which i had in the first place. so no one can say its my fault for not fixing the problem before i bought the kit. :rtfm:
could be over heating dirt in carb blockedjets spark plug nackered carb not set up right try the easy ones first give your carb a clean and go get a new sparky
if money isnt an issue then rebuild the bottom end, new mains and seals, new crank, new variator, belt, clutch, reeds, manifold, etc... just make it fresh. the bike is unknown and dosnt run right, your priorities arent a 70 kit.
i didnt do it to take the piss i just linked it to tell him if the bike has a problem then a 70 kit wont solve it that is all, not having ago at all ring me later got a no for you just ask yourself one thing. why did yu 50 kit fail. they dont just fail
Fixed the oil pump in the crank was fucked and something had snapped fixed now.. 47mph zx chrome.. 50cc omg so slowww! 70's Tuesday! =]
who cares about an 's' though really? some of u lot are a bit too picky at times and it does get a bit annoying after every post u are criticized because u didnt type exactly how someone else wanted u to. come on guys lighten up its the bloody internet who cares
