Hello everyone just thought i would post a quick thread to intorduce myself and also ask a couple of questions. I recently purchased a 09 plate Nrg Power LC 50 as a replacement for my car ( got sick of my insurance plus a change in circumstances ) it came with a pm tuning 360 pipe and a open air filter, it pulled away a bit shuddery and bogged ( the lad i bought it from had tried jetting it but from what i can tell he wasnt " in the know " . Well anyway i changed back to the stock airbox with a new malossi insert and rejetted to suit, i suspected the pulling away issue was down to the clutch, so replaced the clutch with a malossi fly clutch ( with the yellow clutch springs from the sport series springs, designed to engage @ 6k - 8k rpm ) and also a malossi multivar, got rid of the pm tuning pipe as it was falling to bits and replaced that with a S6 pro rep pipe, and for the sake of it replaced the old inlet manifold with a new one and stuck a artek reedcage with carbon fibre reeds in, all new gaskets etc. I rejetted for the pipe, rollers are a mix of 5.5 and 6.5 so 6g basicly, and a white malossi contra spring ( i put an new belt on too lol ) The bike never responded to throttle properly to start with , i.e it seemed the clutch was engaging a bit early and when moving you would roll off the throttle and when you rolled back on it wouldnt get back to its revs properly, wouldnt change down in a sense. ive tried different strengh contra springs
sorry posting from my phone Ive tried different strengh contra springs and played with the rollers but when you let off the throttle and roll back on the revs dont return and when going up hills it sometimes loses revs The clutch also seems like it engages too early when warmed up even though i know i have the correct springs for the clutch. I have recently noticed that the shaft that the Clutch sits on has play in it. if anyone has anyideas it would be much apprecieated i have a basic knoledge of these scooters as i lived in Spain for ten years and these things were a way of life
Might try the tuning section mate, most just pop on for a 1-2 min.'s so would'nt usually glance this way., Welcome to the Forum.mk. .
