Hi there, I've recently re-purchased a '03 Runner SP125 that I sold to my friend back in '04 which he has owned since. Its quite ropey round the edges but seems okay technically, I've already got it in bits in my garage before an MOT as it has been sat in my mates garage SORN'd for a year or so. I know it needs a new seat, tyres, battery, shock, temp sensor, a bent lever replacing, and a bloody good clean. I've already ordered the basics. The plan is to smarten her up and keep her for the good days, he dropped her once or twice quite gently so there is some panel scuffing, so I'm thinking mayby one of these body kits you can buy as a set, don't know if anyone here has experience of these quality wise, original panels are bloody expensive! I'd also like to keep her original 125, with very gentle tuning, and outright speed is not necessary, just so long as she runs well, sounds and looks good, and will cruise at 65mph for a country lane commute I'm happy!

I'm sure i'll have lots of n00bish questions in the future, so i hope others can learn as i cock stuff up!

The aftermarket panel kits are the evo kits, youll find they are not as thick/strong as the original panels...

So maybe not as sturdy as original panels but I don't intend to be dropping the bike all over the place, how are they for fit and paint quality? Are they particularly cheap looking in the flesh?

On a side note, not looking to paint them myself, what colour dyou recon to go with the red wheels?
