Picked this up on sunday, loving it so far, prefer it to the GS/XJ, been well maintained nice firm ride, nippy little thing and handles much better than i thought was stripped to the frame and everything repainted to.
It's a kwak GPZ500s if i'm right, didn't even need to see the Kawasaki badge on the instrument panel to tell that Couldn't you ride one of these at 17 if you passed your test and it was restricted because for the cost of a decent one of these (or a GSX600F like my uncles) its cheaper than a good 125 (Mito, RS125 etc), more reliable and the higher insurance cost would be part redeemed by the better performance and reliability.
if you got a gsxr 600 instead of a 125 it would ahve shitloads more torque so would rape the 125 on accelration, but topspeed will be lower because its 33bhp with a load more weight to carry, best thing to do is just get a 125 if your still restricted and wait it out or ofcourse just de-restrict it
that does look nice mate, someone i know had one in a nastsy dark green colour and crap nexus exhaust system them sounded shit, your one looks cool
Id just come off an ebay auction for one when i read this lol, they look much nicer, being chrome and on one side of the bike only, so the chain side is open which would look much better being theres no chain guard on there at the mo either, and then theres the weight reduction..... but as you say i can imagine it sounding like the performance exhausts for 4t runners lol which is totally undesireable so i think il stick with me blown baffle an save £275, does sound kinda evil  Anyone know the legalities of having no chain guard? MOT tester gave me an advisory for it an said old bill wouldnt be best pleased lol? iv got a nice one in matching paint, but one of the mounting holes has a sheared bolt in it which iv yet to remove.
nice imp: i had a nexus pipe on my bandit (still have it) i wouldnt say there shit as there built really well but there more of a standard replacement they are very quiet
yeah they are good quality but made this bike sound like a px 200 instead of the gpz 500 it was. wasn't too bad i suppose, each to their own and i just didn't like it.
hadnt even thought of that cratch: that would look much better, its the hench indicators i gotta lose first tho imp:
Right, got rid of the massive indicators, and got a motad 2-1 exhaust, now all it needs is a single seat cowl, if anyone can find one.
decided against the tinted screen in the end, fiqured if im going fast enough to be behind it, its best to have a good view from it
Yeah your right. Funny thing is, when I bought the pen, the bloke gave me a really weird look, I didnt realise until I got home that they actually do different colours, and i'd just bought a pink one :emb: Pissed me right off, cant beleive he didnt mention it
